What is Bond IT?
Bond IT is American Surety Company’s transactional system built by experienced surety system professionals. Our system provides up-to-date information and a full life cycle of tools – New Bonds, Riders, Cancels, Reinstatements, and Renewals all at your fingertips.
What is Bill IT?
Bill IT is American Surety Company’s billing system for bond invoices, reports, and making payments. We’re committed to providing transparency when it comes to billing and payment. Our tools provide up-to-date information to best serve our appointed agents.
How do I log into your online systems?
American Surety Company provides online bond-management tools to appointed agents. If you are an appointed agent, please visit Bond IT and Bill IT to access your dashboards.

How do I update my existing bond?
With our bond-management tool, Bond IT, you have the ability to be able to perform changes (riders) and more! Or, if you prefer, you can contact your dedicated American Surety Company support representatives.
How do I pay agency statement online?
Visit Bill IT to log in to the billing system to pay and manage your agency bill statement.
- On the login homepage
- Under Billing, select Agency Payment in the dropdown
- Agency dropdown will default to your agency
- Select the date range
- Click Search
- Here you can select/deselect which bonds to pay
- Once you’ve made your selection click Pay Now
- Select your payment method and follow the screen prompts
How do I pay my agency statement/direct bill by mail?
To Mail Your Payment:

How do I change my password?
If attempting to log in to the Bond IT system to issue a bond or maintain an existing bond, open the Bond IT login page and select the “Forgot Password” button.
If attempting to log in to the Bill IT system to review bond billing details or to pay your agency statement, open the Bill IT login page and select the “Forgot password” link.
How do I get a duplicate Direct Bill Solicitation?
Visit Bill IT and follow the below steps to duplicate Direct Bill Solicitations.
- On the Login homepage, search for the bond number
- Click the Document Summary tab
- Open the direct bill solicitation or email it as a PDF attachment
How do I attach documents to the bond file?
Our Bond IT tool allows you to securely submit documents related to a bond.
- Edit to open your bond file
- Click the Attachments Tab
- Click the Add Button
- Drag & Drop or Select the document from your computer.
- Do not modify the Name and Description fields
- Attachment Category – Choose the appropriate category that best describes the document
- Submit
- The document is now attached to the bond file
- American Surety Company is notified that a document has been attached to the bond file.
How can I tell if a bond is paid?
Login to Bill IT and follow the below instructions:
- On the Login homepage, search for the bond number
- Click the Billing Summary tab
- Review the Amount Summary table for the Total Balance outstanding
Will I have access to the bond documents?
Yes. You will see documents throughout the life cycle of your bond. – Edit to open your bond file. Click the ‘Print Documents’ tab.
